Raphael Fernando Moral

I design and develop new materials with potential applications in lighting and energy conversion. From the molecular level to the bulk substance, my main focus is to design materials that present outstanding performance, low-cost, and facile fabrication, while assuring compatibility to the current technological and environmental demands. In order to test and improve their attributes, materials from polymers to semiconductors are applied in devices such as solar cells and LEDs, aiming the enhancement of existing technologies or the introduction of novel solutions in the current energetic challenges.
