Paulo Eduardo Santos de Faria

Faria has a Bachelor's Degree in Visual Arts (2004) and a Teacher's Degree in Visual Arts (2006) both from the University of Brasilia and a Master's Degree in Arts from the University of Brasilia, in the research line of Contemporary Poetics (2009). He works as a teacher in High School, Undergraduate, and Postgraduate in the areas of Visual Arts, Architecture, and Design, with emphasis on the following topics: drawing, semiotics, art history, art teaching, and philosophy of art. As an artist, he has a poetic interest in the technical and conceptual boundaries of drawing with other languages, with recurring themes of time and memory.

Possui Bacharelado em Artes Plásticas pela Universidade de Brasília (2004), Licenciatura em Artes Plásticas pela Universidade de Brasília (2006) e mestrado em Artes pela Universidade de Brasília na linha de pesquisa em Poéticas Contemporâneas (2009). Atua como professor no Ensino Médio, Graduação e Pós-Graduação na área de Artes Visuais, Design e Arquitetura com ênfase nos seguintes temas: desenho, semiótica, história da arte e filosofia da arte. Como artista, tem interesse poético nas fronteiras técnicas e conceituais do desenho, tendo como temas recorrentes o tempo e a memória.
