He holds a PhD in Morphological Sciences from UFRJ (CAPES 7), with a Title registered in Portugal, at the University of Lisbon. Master in Applied Biosciences and Specialization in Applied Pharmacology and Toxicology. Graduated in Dentistry from the Fluminense Federal University - UFF. Dentist and Professor of Human Anatomy for courses in Medicine, Physiotherapy, Nursing, Biology, Physical Education, Dance, Speech Therapy and Pharmacy. In the Dentistry Course, he also teaches Physiology, Pharmacology, Anesthesiology, Dental Anatomy and Sculpture, Radiology, Forensic Dentistry and in Clinical Disciplines and Supervised Internship, including the Specialization in Implantology and Orofacial Harmonization. Expertise in home dental care for elderly patients and special patients, since 2003. Coordinator of the Extramural Extension Project for Home Dental Care in Long-Term Institutions for the Elderly, for Dentistry students. Founding Titular Member of the Society of Anatomy of Rio de Janeiro - SAERJ 2016, Researcher at FAPERJ, of the Pre-Clinical and Clinical Research Group on Biomaterials, since June 201. Since Feburary/2023, is the responsible Teacher of Anatomy for Medical and Dental School of UNIATENAS - MG. Among other topics, the research fields are: Bone Metabolism, Biomineralization, Anatomy, Physiology , Pharmacology, Anesthesiology, Gerontology and Home Dental Care.

No Curso de Odontologia, leciona também, Fisiologia, Farmacologia, Anestesiologia, Anatomia e Escultura Dental, Radiologia, Odontologia Forense e em Disciplinas Clínicas e Estágio Supervisionado, inclusive na Especialização em Implantodontia e Harmonização Orofacial. Atuação em atendimento odontológico domiciliar para pacientes idosos e pacientes especiais, desde 2003. Coordenador do Projeto de Extensão Extramuros de Atendimento Odontológico Domiciliar em Instituições de Longa Permanência de Idosos, para os alunos de Odontologia. Membro Titular Fundador da Sociedade de Anatomia do Rio de Janeiro - SAERJ 2016, Pesquisador da FAPERJ, do Grupo de Pesquisa Pré-Clínica e Clínica em Biomateriais, desde junho de 2016. Desde Fevereiro 2023, é o Professor responsável pela Anatomia do Curso de Medicina e Odontologia da UNIATENAS - MG. Entre outros temas, pesquisa: Metabolismo Ósseo, Biomineralização, Anatomia, Fisiologia, Farmacologia, Anestesiologia, Gerontologia e Atendimento Odontológico Domiciliar
