Giuliano Di Canio graduated at the University of Bologna (2011) in B.Eng Automation Engineering and obtained his Master at the University of Southern Denmark in Msc Robot Systems Engineering (2015). He worked as research assistant at the Embodied AI and Neurorobotics lab (2015) at the University of Southern Denmark where he investigated biological properties of bipedal and insect locomotion and he developed robots and neuro inspired controller published in international journal and conferences. In the early 2016 he worked as researcher at the Vision Group at the Lund University in Sweden, where he analyzed the behavior of bees visual system for flight control. He also visited the Department of Ecology at the University of Sao Paulo (USP) as visiting researcher from Sweden to perform behavioral experiments with bees.
