Vladimir Guilherme Haach

Associate Professor at the School of Engineering of São Carlos, holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the Federal University of Paraná (2002), a Master's degree in Civil Engineering (Structural Engineering) from the University of São Paulo (2005), a PhD in Civil Engineering (Structural Engineering ) from the University of Minho in Portugal (2009), postdoctoral degree in Civil Engineering (Structural Engineering) from the University of São Paulo (2011) and full professorship from the University of São Paulo (2018). He acts as a reviewer for several international journals and is editor of the Ibracon Magazine of Structures and Materials-RIEM. He has experience in Civil Engineering, with an emphasis on Structures, working mainly on the following topics: Finite element method, concrete and masonry structures and non-destructive testing.

Professor Associado da Escola de Engenharia de São Carlos, possui graduação em Engenharia Civil pela Universidade Federal do Paraná (2002), mestrado em Engenharia Civil (Engenharia de Estruturas) pela Universidade de São Paulo (2005), doutorado em Engenharia Civil (Engenharia de Estruturas) pela Universidade do Minho em Portugal (2009), pós-doutorado em Engenharia Civil (Engenharia de Estruturas) pela Universidade de São Paulo (2011) e livre-docência pela Universidade de São Paulo (2018). Atua como revisor de vários periódicos internacionais e é editor da Revista Ibracon de Estruturas e Materiais - RIEM. Tem experiência na área de Engenharia Civil, com ênfase em Estruturas, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: Método dos elementos finitos, estruturas de concreto e alvenaria e ensaios não-destrutivos.
