Graduated in Physiotherapy from the State University of Paraíba (1993), Master's in Biophysics from the Federal University of Pernambuco (1999) with the theme of the dissertation in the area of magnetic field interacting with microorganisms. PhD in Nutrition from the Federal University of Pernambuco (2004) with the theme of the thesis in the area of electromagnetic fields interacting with the immune system of nourished and malnourished animals. He is currently a Full Professor at the Federal University of Pernambuco. He has experience in the phenomena of interaction of electromagnetic fields with the biological system, currently working in the area of electroanalgesia, electrostimulation, interaction of electromagnetic fields with the biological system.

Doutorado em Nutrição pela Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (2004) com o tema da tese na área de campos eletromagnéticos interagindo com o sistema imune de animais nutridos e desnutridos. Atualmente é Professor Titular da Universidade Federal de Pernambuco. Tem experiência nos fenômenos de interação dos campos eletromagnéticos com o sistema biológico, trabalhando atualmente na área de eletroanalgesia, eletroestimulação, interação dos campos eletromagnéticos com o sistema biológico.
