Dr. Luciana Londero Brandli

Luciana Londero Brandli (Ph.D) is professor at University of Passo Fundo, Brazil and researcher at the Program in Civil and Environmental Engineering. She received her degree in Civil Engineering at Federal University of Santa Maria in 1996, and holds the MSc and Ph.D degree at Federal University of Santa Catarina, in 1998 and 2004 respectivaly. She also holds the post doctorial in Applied Sciences at Hamburg University of Applied Sciences, in 2014 in Germany. She is Deputy Editor of the Encyclopedia of Sustainability and Higher Education and Deputy Editor of the Encyclopedia of Sustainable Development Goals:Transforming the World We Want. Prof. Brandli serves on the editorial board of various journals, supervises a number of master and doctoral students on engineering, environment and sustainability issues and has in excess of 300 publications, including books, book chapters and papers in referred journals. Her current research interests include sustainability in higher education, the Agenda 2030 for Sustainable Development, Climate Change, Education for Sustainability and Sustainable Cities. Currently she is pursuing the international Project ?Transforming Universities for the Climate Change? involving the United Kingdom, Kenya, Mozambique and Fiji Island.

Possui graduação em Engenharia Civil pela Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (1995), mestrado em Engenharia Civil pela Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (1998), doutorado em Engenharia de Produção pela Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (2004) e Pós doutorado na Hamburg University of Applied Sciences (2014). Luciana é Vice-Editora do International Journal of Sustainability in Higher Education e do Discovery Sustainability, e uma das editoras da Encyclopedia of Sustainability and Higher Education e da Encyclopedia of Sustainable Development Goals: Transforming the World We Want. Atua no conselho editorial de várias revistas, supervisiona vários estudantes de mestrado e doutorado em questões de engenharia, meio ambiente e sustentabilidade e possui mais de 300 publicações, incluindo livros, capítulos de livros e artigos nas referidas revistas. Seus interesses atuais de pesquisa incluem sustentabilidade no ensino superior, a Agenda 2030 para o Desenvolvimento Sustentável, Mudanças Climáticas, Educação para a Sustentabilidade e Cidades Sustentáveis. Atualmente, ela está realizando o projeto internacional ?Transforming Universities for the Climate Change?, envolvendo o Reino Unido, Quênia, Moçambique e Ilhas Fiji. É bolsista produtividade do CNPQ, coordenadora do Green Office UPF e coordenadora do Programa de pós graduação em engenharia civil e ambiental UPF.
