Gustavo dos Santos Pinheiro

Currently is a PhD student and researcher in the Laboratory of Pavement Technology (LTP) at University of São Paulo, studying the usage of recycled plastic in pavement materials. Master of Science from Transportation Engineering Postgraduation Program at University of São Paulo, researched themes about asphalt binder extraction-recovery procedures and reclaimed asphalt blending studies from recycled hot mix asphalt. Civil Engineering bachelor's degree from Ferderal University of Santa Maria and ex-member of the Paving and Road Safety Study Research Group (GEPPASV) at the same university, studied asphalt concretes advanced characterization.

Mestre em Ciências e doutorando pelo Programa de Pós-Graduação em Engenharia de Transportes (PPGET) da Universidade de São Paulo (USP) com bolsa concedida pela Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES). Atua em estudos e projetos de pesquisa na área de infraestrutura com ênfase em materiais para pavimentação.
