Doutora em Ciências do Desenvolvimento Socioambiental, pelo Programa de Pós-graduação em Desenvolvimento Sustentável do Trópico Úmido (PPGDSTU), do Núcleo de Altos Estudos Amazônicos (NAEA), da Universidade Federal do Pará (UFPA). Realizou Pós-doutorado em Estudos Culturais, na Universidade de Aveiro - Portugal (2019-2020). Foi Professora, Técnica e Diretora na Secretaria Municipal de Educação (SEMEC) (Período 1994-2006). Foi Formadora no Programa Esporte e Lazer da Cidade (PELC) (Período 2007-2010) e no Programa Segundo Tempo (2014), ambos do Ministério do Esporte (Governo Federal). Foi Coordenadora do Programa de Pós-graduação em Desenvolvimento Sustentável do Trópico Úmido (PPGDSTU/NAEA/UFPA) (Gestão 2017-2018) e Vice-coordenadora deste mesmo Programa (Gestão 2015-2016). Foi Presidente da Associação Brasileira de Pesquisa e Pós-graduação em Estudos do Lazer (ANPEL) (Gestão 2016-2018) e Vice-presidente desta mesma Associação (Gestão 2014-2016 ). Atualmente é Professora/Pesquisadora no Programa de Pós-graduação em Desenvolvimento Sustentável do Trópico Úmido (PPGDSTU/NAEA/UFPA); Editora da Revista Novos Cadernos NAEA; Diretora-Adjunta do Núcleo de Altos Estudos Amazônicos (NAEA/UFPA); Representante da UFPA na Rede de Pesquisa OTIUM (Rede Iberoamericana de Pesquisa em Estudos do Ócio); e Líder do Grupo de Pesquisas em Lazer, Ambiente e Sociedade (GPLAS) - NAEA/UFPA.
PhD in Sciences: Socioenvironmental Development, by the Graduate Program in Sustainable Development of the Humid Tropic (PPGDSTU), from the Center for High Amazon Studies (NAEA), at the Federal University of Pará (UFPA). Post-doctorate in Cultural Studies, at the University of Aveiro - Portugal. She was a Professor, Technician and Director at the Municipal Education Secretariat (SEMEC), in the period 1994-2006. She was a trainer in the Sport and Leisure Program of the City (PELC), in the period 2007 - 2010 and in the Segundo Tempo Program in 2014, both from the Ministry of Sport (Federal Government). She was Coordinator of the Postgraduate Program in Sustainable Development of the Humid Tropic (PPGDSTU / NAEA / UFPA) (Management 2017-2018) and Vice-coordinator of this same Program (PPGDSTU / NAEA / UFPA) (Management 2015-2016). He was President of the Brazilian Association for Research and Graduate Studies in Leisure Studies (ANPEL) (Management 2016-2018) and Vice President of this same Association (ANPEL) (Management 2014-2016). She is currently a Professor / Researcher in the Postgraduate Program in Sustainable Development of the Wet Tropic (PPGDSTU / NAEA / UFPA). He is a UFPA Representative in the OTIUM Research Network (Iberoamerican Research Network in Leisure Studies). He is Leader of the Research Group on Leisure, Environment and Society (GPLAS) - NAEA / UFPA.
