Marcia Elisa Soares Echeveste

Graduada em Estatística pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul, mestrado e doutorado em Engenharia de Produção pela UFRGS (2003). Concluiu Pós-doutorado em Desenvolvimento de Produtos na EESC-USP (2005) e Pesquisador Visitante na Universidade de Pittsburgh, na Pensilvânia, USA (2016). Professor titular da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul atuando na graduação no Departamento de Estatística e professor permanente dos Pós-graduação da Engenharia de Produção e do Pós-graduação em Engenharia Civil: Construção e Infraestrutura. Tem experiência na área de Engenharia da Qualidade e Engenharia de Produto. Temas de interesse: Análise de dados, qualidade, Pesquisas de Geração de Valor em cenários de Produto-Serviço, Métodos de desenvolvimento de Novos produtos, Sistemas Lean no desenvolvimento de projetos de produtos e serviços. Tem publicações em Journals como Technological Forecasting and Social Change, R&D Management, European Management Journal, Journal of Manufacturing Technology Management, International Journal of Production Research e Journal of Cleaner Production. Além de publicações em journals setoriais como Australian Journal of Grape and Wine Research, Journal of Stored Products Research, Computers and Education e Sustainability.

Graduated in Statistics from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, Master in Production Engineering from UFRGS (1997) and PhD in Production Engineering from UFRGS (2003). Completed Postdoctoral in Product Development at EESC-USP (2005) and Visiting Researcher at the University of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA, 2015. Full professor at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, working on the undergraduate course in the Department of Statistics and Post -graduation in Production Engineering. Has experience in Production Engineering, with emphasis on Quality Engineering, acting mainly on the following themes: quality, statistical analysis and in Product Engineering in quantitative research, joint analysis in Product-Service scenarios , New product development methods, Lean Systems in the development of product and service projects. He has publications in high impact journals such as Technological Forecasting and Social Change, R&D Management, European Management Journal, Journal of Manufacturing Technology Management, International Journal of Production Research and Journal of Cleaner Production. In addition to publications in industry journals such as Australian Journal of Grape and Wine Research, Journal of Stored Products Research, Computers and Education and Sustainability.
