Yvone GREIS holds a Ph.D. in History and Literary Theory from the Instituto de Estudos da Linguagem (IEL), Universidade de Campinas, Unicamp, Brazil and a Ph.D. in modern French language and literature from the Centre d'Études Supérieures de la Renaissance, Université François Rabelais, Tours, France. Her thesis, which she completed in 2013 under the joint supervision of Prof. Carlos Eduardo Ornelas Berriel and Prof. Marie-Luce Demonet is entitled "A translation of Barthélemy Aneau's Alector, histoire fabuleuse (1560) and a critical study about the imaginary city of Orbe". During her post-doctorate research (2015-2016, UFR-CESR/CAPES, Brazil) under the supervision of Prof. Marie-Luce Demonet, she dedicated herself to the TEI project for the transcription, translation, and encoding of Prinse de Thionville sur Moselle (Barthélemy Aneau, printed in 1558 by Nicolas Edoard). The result of that work may be accessed at the website of the Bibliothèques Virtuelles Humanistes ¬ BVH (http://www.bvh.univ-tours.fr). To that initial project, four additional texts by the same author were added for XML TEI encoding: Imagination Poétique (1552, published by Macé Bonhomme); Alector, histoire fabuleuse (1560, published by Pierre Fradin), available at the website of the BVH (http://www.bvh.univ-tours.fr); La Republique d'Utopie par Thomas Maure..., Traduite nouvellement de Latin en Françoys - par Jean Le Blond (review by B. Aneau, 1559, published by Jean Saugrain - http://www.bvh.univ-tours.fr Yvone Greis has also contributed to the base of the Éditions Lyonnaises de Romans du XVIe siècle (1501-1600) (http://www.rhr16.fr/base-elr/ouvrage/61/Alector) by creating Alector's datasheet. Her research interests remain focused on Barthélemy Aneau and his works, especially those written in prose, but also extend to the language and literature of the sixteenth century, the electronic edition of these works, to translation studies and French as a foreign language, especially the aspects related to French for Specific Purposes (FSP). Her website, cible.français, was set up in 2013 (currently in maintenance); it includes support material for French students at beginner, false beginner, and intermediate levels. Yvone Greis is a private tutor of Portuguese and French. She has been teaching in multinational companies and prepares university candidates for proficiency exams in French. In October 2016, she becomes an associate researcher at the Centre d'Études Supérieures de la Renaissance, CESR UMR 7323, Tours, France.She took the improvement course in literary translation, offered by Casa Guilherme de Almeida in 2021 and was a professor at the State University of Londrina from May 2021 to February 2022 (Simplified Selection Process PRORH nº 054/2020 - temporary professor). Yvone Greis is dedicated to preparing university candidates for the French language proficiency exams and teaches private Portuguese classes for foreigners in multinational companies.
Yvone GREIS é doutora em História e Teoria Literária pelo Instituto de Estudos da Linguagem da Universidade de Campinas/IEL/UNICAMP e doutora em Lettres Modernes pelo Centre d'Études Supérieures de la Renaissance, Universidade François Rabelais de Tours, França. Sua tese em cotutela (2013), orientada pelos professores Carlos Eduardo Ornelas Berriel e Marie-Luce Demonet, intitula-se "Tradução da narrativa fabulosa de Barthélemy Aneau e estudo crítico sobre a cidade imaginária de Orbe". Durante seu pós-doutorado (2015-2016, UFR-CESR/Bolsa Pesquisa Pós-doutoral CAPES-BRASIL), sob a supervisão da professora Marie-Luce DEMONET, ela se dedica ao projeto de transcrição e codificação XML TEI e tradução da obra La Prinse de Thionville sur Moselle, de Barthélemy Aneau, publicada em 1558 por Nicolas Edoard. O resultado desse trabalho encontra-se disponível no site das Bibliothèques Virtuelles Humanistes - BVH (http://www.bvh.univ-tours.fr). Seus interesses de pesquisa permanecem associados a Barthélemy Aneau e às suas obras, principalmente em prosa, e estendem-se à língua e literatura do século XVI, à edição eletrônica de textos publicados nesse período, aos estudos da tradução e ao francês língua estrangeira, principalmente na sua vertente sobre objetivos específicos (FOS) e derivações, tal como francês para objetivo universitário e instrumental. Ela cria o site cible.français em 2013 (em manutenção), que reúne material de apoio para estudantes de francês de nível iniciante, faux-débutants e intermediário.Torna-se a partir de outubro de 2016, pesquisadora associada do Centre d'Études Supérieures de la Renaissance, CESR UMR 7323, Tours, França. Realizou o curso de aperfeiçoamento em tradução literária, oferecido pela Casa Guilherme de Almeida em 2021 e foi professora da Universidade Estadual de Londrina de maio de 2021 a fevereiro de 2022 (Processo Seletivo Simplificado PRORH nº 054/2020 - professor temporário). Yvone Greis dedica-se ao preparo de candidatos universitários aos exames de proficiência em língua francesa e ministra aulas particulares de português para estrangeiros em empresas multinacionais.
