Jamir Luís Silva da Silva

It possesses graduation in Agronomy for the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (1988), master's degree in Zootecnia for the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (1992) and Doctorate in animal husbandry for the Federal University of Viçosa (1998). He/she worked as Technician in Laboratory - Area in the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul between December of 1981 and November of 2008. He/she acted as educational in the courses of Veterinary Medicine and Agricultural Engineering of the Lutheran University of Brazil, supplying the disciplines of Forragees, animal science, Systems of Production Agricultural I and Systems of Agricultural Production II. He/she has experience in the area of animal husbandry, with emphasis in Evaluation, Production and Conservation of Forages, acting mainly in the following themes: Animal evaluation and of the pasture in pastejo experiments, integrated systems of animal production: systems silvipastoris, integration farming andintegration farming and livestock, systems of mixed pastejo, systems of animal production, bovine of cut and of milk in pastures. He is currently Researcher A of Embrapa Clima Temperado, in the area of crop-livestock-forest Systems and management of pastoral agroecosystems

Possui graduação em Agronomia pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (1988), Mestrado em Zootecnia pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (1992) e Doutorado em Zootecnia pela Universidade Federal de Viçosa (1998). Trabalhou como Técnico em Laboratório - Área na Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul entre dezembro de 1981 e novembro de 2008. Atuou como docente nos cursos de Medicina Veterinária e Engenharia Agrícola da Universidade Luterana do Brasil, ministrando as disciplinas de Forrageiras, Zootecnia, Sistemas de Produção Agrícola I e Sistemas de Produção Agrícola II, durante os anos de 1995 a 2006. Foi Pesquisador A da Embrapa Clima Temperado, na área de Sistemas Integrados de Produção Agropecuária (integração Lavoura-Pecuária-Floresta) e Manejo de Agroecossistemas pastoris, entre os anos de 2008 a 2020.Tem experiência na área de Zootecnia, com ênfase em Avaliação, Produção e Conservação de Forragens, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: Avaliação animal e do pasto em experimentos de pastejo, Sistemas Integrados de Produção Agropecuária, Sistemas Silvipastoris, Integração Lavoura e Pecuária, sistemas de pastejo misto, sistemas de produção animal, bovinos de corte e de leite em pastagens. Atualmente trabalhando na empresa Serviço de Inteligência em Agronegócios (SIABrasil)
