Gerson Luis de Moraes Ferrari
Possui graduação em Educação Física. Mestre e Doutor pelo Departamento de Pediatria da UNIFESP (Bolsista CAPES). Foi estudante de Doutorado (sanduíche) do Pennington Biomedical Research Center (Louisiana, Estados Unidos). Possui Pós-Doutorado pelo Departamento de Pediatria da UNIFESP (bolsista CAPES). Atualmente, é colaborador do Centro de Estudos do Laboratório de Aptidão Física de São Caetano do Sul (CELAFISCS) e do Non-communicable Diseases Risk Factor Collaboration (NCD-RisC). É professor visitante do Centro de Atendimento e Apoio ao Adolescente (CAAA) do departamento de Pediatria da UNIFESP. É Professor Titular da Escuela de Ciencias de la Actividad Física, el Deporte y la Salud, Facultad de Ciencias Médicas, Universidad de Santiago de Chile (USACH), Santiago, Chile. Além disso, é um dos responsáveis do Active Healthy Kids Global Alliance Brasil e é consultor na área de atividade física do Latin American Study of Nutrition and Health/Estudio Latinoamericano de Nutrición Salud (ELANS). Foi responsável pelo desenvolvimento do projeto C3 Collaborating for Health (Fundação United Health) no Brasil. Tem experiência na área de Educação Física, com ênfase em saúde coletiva, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: acelerometria, epidemiologia, promoção da atividade física, doenças crônicas não transmissíveis, saúde, esporte e aptidão física.
