Guilherme Lohmann

Full Professor in Air Transport and Tourism Management at Griffith University (Brisbane, Australia), one of the highest-ranked universities globally for tourism studies. Gui has authored several books, including editing "Tourism in Brazil: environment, management and segments" and co-authored "Tourism Theory: Concepts, Models and Systems", the latter published in English, Spanish and Portuguese. He has published broadly internationally, including more than 40 journal articles in leading peer-reviewed tourism and air transport publications. He is also an Associated Editor of the journal "Tourism Review" and is in the editorial board of the "Journal of Air Transport Management". Gui is also an adjunct professor of the Tourism Postgraduate Program at the University of São Paulo, in the School of Arts, Sciences and Humanities. He is a researcher of NEAT/USP - Tourism Economics and Management Research Center. Gui is one of the founders of ABRATUR (the International Academy for the Development of Tourism Research in Brazil) and its first Executive Director.
