Georgia Véras de Araújo Gueiros Lira

Graduada em MEDICINA pela Universidade de Pernambuco - UPE. Realizou Residência Médica em PEDIATRIA no Instituto de Medicina Integral Prof. Fernando Figueira - IMIP e Especialização em PNEUMOLOGIA PEDIÁTRICA em mesma instituição. Realizou Residência Médica em ALERGIA E IMUNOLOGIA CLÍNICA na Universidade Federal de Pernambuco - UFPE. Obteve o título de Especialista em Pediatria junto à Sociedade Brasileira de Pediatria (SBP) e a Associação Médica Brasileira em 2003 e título de Especialista em Alergia e Imunopatologia Clínica junto à Associação Brasileira de Alergia e Imunopatologia (ASBAI) e a Associação Médica Brasileira em 2018. Realizou o MESTRADO em Ciências da Saúde pela Universidade Federal de Pernambuco - UFPE em 2013 e atualmente é Doutoranda da Pós-Graduação em Saúde da Criança e do Adolescente pela UFPE. Foi Professora Auxiliar do Departamento Materno Infantil da UFPE e prestou novo concurso para PROFESSORA ASSISTENTE A1 do mesmo Departamento, onde atualmente desempenha suas atividades de Docência do Curso Médico da UFPE. É preceptora da Residência Médica na área de Alergia e Imunologia Clínica e membro do Centro de Pesquisas em Alergia e Imunologia Clínica do Hospital das Clínicas - UFPE. Tem como linhas de pesquisa: Epidemiologia das Doenças Alérgicas; Epidemiologia e fatores de risco para asma em escolares; Caracterização da asma em crianças expostas a diferentes condições ambientais.

She was Assistant Professor at the Maternal and Child Department at UFPE and held a new competition for ASSISTANT TEACHER A1 at the same Department, where she currently performs her teaching activities at the Medical Course at UFPE. She is a preceptor of Medical Residency in the area of ​​Allergy and Clinical Immunology and a member of the Research Center for Allergy and Clinical Immunology at Hospital das Clínicas - UFPE. Its research lines are: Epidemiology of Allergic Diseases; Epidemiology and risk factors for asthma in schoolchildren; Characterization of asthma in children exposed to different environmental conditions.
