Mylène Luíza Cunha Berbert Born

Graduada em Geologia pela Universidade de Brasília (1990) e Mestre em Geoquímica Ambiental pela Universidade Federal de Ouro Preto (1998). Geóloga da Fundação Gorceix (1991-1994), atuante em levantamentos espeleológicos em âmbito regional (Projeto VIDA/CPRM). Pesquisadora em Geociências do Serviço Geológico do Brasil - SGB-CPRM (1994-presente), com atuação em atividades e projetos voltados para a gestão territorial e do patrimônio natural, ênfase em ambientes cársticos, espeleologia e geoquímica ambiental. Exerceu coordenação executiva na Superintendência de Planejamento Estratégico - SUPLAN (2017-2019), atualmente integra a equipe de pesquisadores do Museu de Ciências da Terra - MCTer do SGB-CPRM (2019-presente) e é coordenadora do Sistema de Cadastro e Quantificação de Geossítios e Sítios da Geodiversidade - GEOSSIT (2017-presente). Cedida ao Instituto Brasileiro do Meio Ambiente e dos Recursos Naturais Renováveis - IBAMA (2001-2003) e ao Ministério da Integração Nacional - MI (2005-2006), foi coordenadora do Setor de Manejo de Cavernas do Centro Nacional de Estudo Proteção e Manejo de Cavernas - CECAV (atualmente vinculado ao ICMBio); assessora do Gabinete do Ministro e assessora do Departamento de Projetos Especiais da Secretaria de Infra-Estrutura Hídrica, exercendo a coordenação do Programa de Revitalização da Bacia do São Francisco no âmbito do MI.

Graduated Geologist by the University of Brasília (1990) and Master of Environmental Geochemistry by the Federal University of Ouro Preto (1998). Geologist at the Gorceix Foundation (1991-1994), active in regional speleological surveys (Projeto VIDA / CPRM). Researcher in Geosciences at the Geological Survey of Brazil - SGB-CPRM (1994-present), working in activities and projects focused on land management and natural heritage, with emphasis on karst environments, speleology and environmental geochemistry. Executive Coordinator at the Strategic Planning Superintendence - SUPLAN (2017-2019); currently part of the research team of the Earth Sciences Museum - MCTer of SGB-CPRM (2019-present) and coordinator of the Brazilian Geosites Database - GEOSSIT (2017-present). Assigned to the Brazilian Institute of the Environment and Renewable Natural Resources - IBAMA (2001-2003) and to the Ministry of National Integration - MI (2005-2006) was coordinator of the Management Sector at the National Center for the Study and Protection of Caves - CECAV (currently linked to ICMBio); advisor to the Minister's Office and advisor to the Special Projects Department of the Water Infrastructure Secretariat, coordinating the São Francisco River Basin Revitalization Program within the scope of the MI.
