Ellen Polliana Ramos Souza

Ellen is "mother down", organizer and mentor of Startup Weekend Sertão, postdoctoral fellow at the Institute of Mathematical Sciences and Computing at the University of São Paulo (ICMC-USP), professor of the Bachelor of Information Systems course at the Serra Academic Unit Talhada from the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco (UFRPE-UAST), leader of the CNPQ research group in MiningBR Text Mining and coordinator of university extension projects in Digital Inclusion and Assistive Robotics with APAE de Serra Talhada. She holds a PhD in Computer Science from CIn-UFPE, a Masters in Computer Engineering from UPE and Residency in Software Testing from CIn-Motorola. Ellen is a Six Sigma Green Belt, Gate Text Analyst and Java Certified. Currently, she teaches courses and conducts research in the areas of Assistive Technologies, Text Mining and Data Warehouse. She is a founding partner of the company e-inclusion-Technology and Inclusive Education, creator of the Information Technology Center of Serra Talhada City Hall and of the Digital Literacy courses of APAE Serra Talhada and Colégio Primeira Classe. Ellen é "mãe down", organizadora e mentora do Startup Weekend Sertão, pós-doutoranda do Instituto de Ciências Matemáticas e computação da Universidade de São Paulo (ICMC-USP), professora do curso de Bacharelado em Sistemas de Informação da Unidade Acadêmica de Serra Talhada da Universidade Federal Rural de Pernambuco (UFRPE-UAST), líder do grupo de pesquisa do CNPQ em Mineração de Texto MiningBR e coordenadora de projetos de extensão universitária em Inclusão Digital e Robótica Assistiva junto à APAE de Serra Talhada. Possui Doutorado em Ciência da Computação pelo CIn-UFPE, Mestrado em Engenharia da Computação pela UPE e Residência em Teste de Software pelo CIn-Motorola. Ellen é Six Sigma Green Belt, Gate Text Analyst e Java Certified. Atualmente, ministra disciplinas e realiza pesquisas nas áreas de Tecnologias Assistivas, Mineração de Texto e Data Warehouse. É sócia fundadora da empresa e-inclusão - Tecnologia e Educação Inclusiva, criadora do Núcleo de Tecnologia da Informação da Prefeitura de Serra Talhada e das disciplinas de Letramento Digital da APAE de Serra Talhada e do Colégio Primeira Classe.
