Julio holds a bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine and Animal Sciences from the Universidad de Cordoba - Colombia (2016). Then he studied a master's degree in Advanced Genetics, offered by the Universitat Autònoma Barcelona - Spain. During his master's studies, Julio was an intern at Acceligen, a Recombinetics company - USA. He has experience in Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science, acting on the following subjects: animal breeding, animal genetics, biotechnology, genome editing, CRISPR/Cas9.
