Douglas Trautmann e Silva

Master in Plant Production by the State University of Santa Catarina (2019), Graduate in Forestry Engineering - UFSM (2015/2). Doctorate in the area of Improvement and Forest Genetic Resources, by the Graduate Program in Plant Production by the State University of Santa Catarina (UDESC). Has experience in the field of Plant Genetics, with emphasis on Biotechnology of Forest Species, Genetic Improvement, Genetics of Forest Populations. Former member of the Forestry Engineering Group of the UFSM campus Frederico Westphalen. Performance in research with vegetative propagation and propagation, morphogenesis and in vitro regeneration of plants. Currently performs research activities in the following areas: Genetic structure of Ilex paraguariensis; Gene flow of Araucaria angustifolia at different isolation distances.

Mestre em Produção Vegetal pela Universidade do Estado de Santa Catarina (2019), Graduado em Engenharia Florestal ? UFSM (2015/2). Doutorando na área de Melhoramento e Recursos Genéticos Florestais, pelo Programa de Pós-Graduação em Produção Vegetal pela Universidade do Estado de Santa Catarina (UDESC). Tem experiência na área de Genética Vegetal, com ênfase em Biotecnologia de Espécies Florestais, Melhoramento Genético, Genética de Populações Florestais. Ex-integrante do grupo PET de Engenharia Florestal da UFSM campus Frederico Westphalen. Atuação em pesquisas com propagação e micro propagação vegetativa, morfogênese e regeneração in vitro de plantas. Atualmente realiza atividades de pesquisa nas áreas de: Estrutura genética de populações de Ilex paraguariensis; Fluxo gênico da Araucaria angustifolia em diferentes distâncias de isolamento.
