Pedro Jácome de Moura Junior

Pedro de Moura Jr. holds a Ph.D and a M.Sc. degrees in Management at Universidade Federal da Paraíba (UFPB), Brazil. He was a systems analyst, project manager and team manager in ERP development and implementation projects in the Brazilian software industry, servicing customer companies in industries such as health care and education (since 1991). He was chief information officer (CIO) at UFPB (2013-2016), institutional representative with the Ministry of Education and Culture (PEI/MEC) at UFPB (2016-2020), assistant professor of enterprise applications and business intelligence (2011-2013) at UNIPE and editor-in-chief of the Data Science and Business Review (DSBR). At UFPB he is professor of Information Systems, faculty member of the Graduate School of Administration (PPGA/UFPB) and editor-in-chief of the Theory and Practice in Administration (TPA) journal. De Moura Jr. is leader of the Institutional Data Observatory Team (ODIn) and member of the Sociedados, at the Brazilian Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq). He is the author of papers published in Computer in Human Behavior (CHB), Team Performance Management (TPM), Kybernetes, Personnel Review (PR), Journal of Global IT Management (JGITM), International Journal of Human Capital and IT Professionals (IJHCITP), Journal of Information Systems and Technology Management (JISTEM), Cadernos EBAPE and papers presented in international conferences such as Conf-IRM and AmCIS, and in Brazilian conferences such as EnANPAD, SemeAd, EnADI, and SBQS.

Pedro de Moura Jr. é Ph.D e M.Sc. em Administração e tem graduação em Processamento de Dados pela Universidade Federal da Paraíba (UFPB), Brasil. Foi analista de sistemas, gerente de projetos e gerente de equipe em projetos de desenvolvimento e implementação de ERP na indústria brasileira de software, atendendo empresas clientes em setores como saúde e educação (desde 1991). Foi chief information officer (CIO) da UFPB (2013-2016), representante institucional junto ao Ministério da Educação e Cultura (PEI / MEC) da UFPB (2016-2020), professor assistente de aplicações empresariais e inteligência de negócios (2011-2013 ) na UNIPE e editor-chefe da Data Science and Business Review (DSBR). Na UFPB é professor titular de Sistemas de Informação, docente do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Administração (PPGA / UFPB) e editor-chefe da revista Teoria e Prática em Administração (TPA). De Moura Jr. é líder do grupo de pesquisas Observatório de Dados Institucionais (ODIn) e pesquisador no grupo Sociedados, ambos registrados no CNPq.
