Aderbal Caetano Corrêa

Graduado em Geologia pela Universidade Federal do Pará (1967), Mestrado em Geology pela Colorado School of Mines (1970) e Doutorado em Applied Earth Sciences pela Stanford University (1974). Atualmente atual como Consultor tendo sido Diretor do International Center for Arid and Semiarid Land Studies (ICASALS) na Texas Tech University nos Estados Unidos até 2011. Dr. Corrêa tem experiência profissional na área de Geociências, tendo atuado profissionalmente com a tecnologia de sensoriamento remoto na avaliação de recursos naturais, gestão de regiões áridas e semiáridas, estudos ambientais, recursos hídricos, geologia do petróleo, geotectonica e no desenvolvimento de programas de intercâmbio internacional de estudantes.

Graduate from Universidade Federal do Pará with a Bachelor of Science Degree (B.S.) in Geology in 1967, awarded a Master of Science Degree (M.S.) in Geology from Colorado School of Mines (1970) and a Doctor of Philosophy Degree (Ph.D.) in Applied Earth Sciences from Stanford University (1974). Presently Dr. Corrêa is an International Consultant after having been Director of the International Center for Arid and Semiarid Land Studies (ICASALS) at Texas Tech University in the United States until 2011. Dr. Corrêa has experience in Geosciences and worked professionally with remote sensing technology for the evaluation of natural resources, management of arid and smi-arid regions, environmental studies, management of water resources, petroleum geology, geotectonics, and with the development of international student exchange programs.
