Barbara Marchesini Malta

Agricultural Engineer graduated from the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco (UFRPE), Master in Plant pathology (UFRPE) and currently PhD student in Plant pathology in the area of Post-harvest Pathology by the same institution. Develops research in the Post-harvest Pathology Laboratory with alternative control of gray mold in strawberries, epidemiological parameters of the pathogen and use of volatile organic compounds in the control of post-harvest diseases.

Engenheira Agrônoma formada pela Universidade Federal Rural de Pernambuco (UFRPE),Mestre em Fitopatolgia (UFRPE) e atualmente Doutoranda em Fitopatologia na área de Patologia Pós-colheita pela mesma instituição. Desenvolve pesquisas no Laboratório de Patologia Pós-colheita com controle alternativo do mofo cinzento no morango, parâmetros epidemiológicos do patógeno e utilização de compostos orgânicos voláteis no controle de doenças em pós-colheita.
