I am a forward-thinking biomedical scientist and team leader with experience in basic, clinical and translational research. I have a strong background in cellular & molecular biology and a passion for the discovery of novel biomarkers and targeted-treatment strategies. My program and project management, communication, and interpersonal skills, along with business acumen, have allowed me to successfully build strong prolific collaborations in different aspects of basic and translational hematology/oncology, stem cell biology and regenerative medicine leading to 26 peer-reviewed publications cited 870+ times and the submission of 2 invention reports/patents. I am also passionate about teaching & mentoring, and have effectively trained & supervised junior scientists and clinicians in cellular & molecular biology projects in GLP- & GCP-research environments, while assuring consistent protocol reproducibility, maintaining laboratory budget & project timelines.
