Edna Raimunda da Silva received her doctorate title in Mechanical Engineering from the Federal University of Itajubá - Unifei (2011), Master in Energy Engineering from UNIFEI (2003), and a degree in Computer Science, emphasis in Information Systems by Foundation of the Education and Research of Itajubá (1998).
- Works in the field of Fluid Dynamics and Flow machines. Developing computer systems for global optimization methods based on the construction of metamodels applied to turbomachinery.
- Has experience in Fortran programming languages, Matlab, language C / C ++ and others.
- Participated in activities in research project, such as: Research Project entitled "UNCERTAINTIES OF MODELING AND OPTIMIZATION IN ROBUST FLUID DYNAMICS TURBOMACHINERY DESIGN".
- Worked in the research project "SOLAR PANELS PHOTOVOLTAIC COST LOW INK OBTAINED FROM SEMICONDUCTOR" for two years of post-doctoral post-graduate program in Materials Engineering. The activities resulted in support for the co-supervision of two dissertation work and presenting work at 2 conferences (20 CBECIMAT- Brazilian Congress of Engineering and Materials Science and VIII Meeting Miner Physics - EMIF).

Possui graduação em Computação, ênfase em Sistemas de Informação pela Fundação de Ensino e Pesquisa de Itajubá (1998), mestrado em Engenharia de Energia pela UNIFEI (2003), recebeu seu Título de doutorado em Engenharia Mecânica pela Universidade Federal de Itajubá - Unifei (2011), e possui pós doutorado pela Mälardalen University, Västerås, Suécia.
- Áreas de concentração: Termo-Fluido-Dinâmica. Atua especificamente nos seguintes temas: Metodologias de otimização global, metamodelagem, funções de Base Radial, simulações numéricas (CFD), turbinas à gás, ciclo ORC.
- Tem experiência em linguagens de programação Fortran, Matlab, Linguagem c/c++ entre outras.
