Lis Tavares Coelho Lobo

I am Biomedical from the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte (2009) with a master's in Medical Parasitology from the Instituto of Higiene and Medicina Tropical (IHMT) / Universidade Nova de Lisboa (UNL) (2012) and a PhD in Biomedical Sciences with specialty in Cellular and Molecular Biology by IHMT / UNL (2019). I have experience in Medical Parasitology, with an emphasis on research of new antimalarials, identification of potential parasitic targets, mechanisms of action and identification of mutations in genes associated with resistance to antimalarials currently used. I am currently involved in the CRUZIVAX project - "Vaccine for prevention and treatment of Trypanosoma cruzi infection" as postdoctoral fellow.
