Holds bachelor's degree in Biological Science from Rutgers Unversity; The State University of New Jersey (2002) and master's degree in Government from Harvard University (2012). Works in the area of Public administration, mainly in the field of government, within the following topics: Brazil, Democracy, Local Government, and Popular Protests. Currently in sabbatical in Brazil (2014).
