Alcina de Oliveira Brasileiro

Bachelor's in Languages and Literatures (Portuguese/English) from the Fluminense Federal University (Rio de Janeiro, 1991-1995) and Master's in Literary Studies from the Federal University of Parana (1999-2001). Holds the CPE-Certificate of Proficiency in English from the Cambridge University. Over the last fifteen years has taught at the Language and Culture Centre and Pedagogical Support Sector of the Languages Centre of the Federal University of Parana, at Languages, Pedagogy and Business Studies graduation courses of Expoente Faculties and at Tuiuti University of Parana. Has also taught at post-graduation/specialisation courses at IBPEX, FAVIUV and FACEL. Has experience in teacher training and materials production at SEED-State Education Secretary of Parana, at Municipal Education Secretary of Curitiba, at the Expoente Educational Group, at the online post-graduation course of ITC-Technology Institute for Knowledge and at the Distance Learning Centre of the Federal Institute of Parana. Has supervised municipal teachers in their projects for the School & University Project and for the PDE-Government Educational Development Plan at UFPR. Has promoted events and methodology courses at Tuiuti University of Parana with the support of the American Embassy. Has supervised undergraduates' training and tutored them in their final papers and presentations to the professors' examination board. Is currently a federal civil servant/teacher of Federal Basic, Technical and Technological Schooling at the Military School of Curitiba, where is a teacher for the intermediate and advanced levels of English, prepares students to take the Cambridge University English examinations and teaches Portuguese to students who present learning difficulties at SAP - the School's Pedagogical Support Sector. Also a reviewer for recognition of knowledge and competencies for MEC.

Sou graduada com licenciatura plena em Letras (Português/Inglês/Literaturas) pela UFF no RJ, com mestrado pela UFPR (Estudos Literários / Literatura Comparada) e com o CPE-Certificate of Proficiency in English da Universidade de Cambridge. Nos últimos quinze anos, fui docente dos cursos do CELLIN (Centro de Línguas e Interculturalidade da UFPR) e do NAP (Núcleo de Apoio Pedagógico da UFPR), dos cursos de Letras, Pedagogia e Administração de Empresas das Faculdades Expoente, da Universidade Tuiuti do Paraná, da Faculdade de Pinhais e de cursos de especialização do IBPEX, FAVIUV e FACEL. Ministrei palestras, cursos de capacitação e oficinas e produzi materiais didáticos para a SEED-Secretaria Estadual de Educação do Paraná, para a Secretaria Municipal de Educação de Curitiba, para o Grupo Expoente, para o curso de Pós-Graduação online do ITC-Instituto de Tecnologia em Conhecimento e para o EAD do IFPR. Fui orientadora de docentes do Projeto Escola & Universidade e do PDE-Plano de Desenvolvimento da Educação junto à UFPR/SEED. Promovi, organizei e coordenei eventos técnicos e culturais e cursos de metodologia em parceria com a Embaixada Norte-Americana, Universidade Tuiti, Faculdades Expoente e Faculdades de Pinhais-FAPI. Supervisionei estágios e orientei TCCs de discentes com participação em bancas. Atualmente sou Professora do Ensino Básico, Técnico e Tecnológico Federal de Língua Inglesa e Portuguesa no Colégio Militar de Curitiba, onde leciono para os níveis básicos, intermediários e avançados de inglês, preparo alunos para exames da Universidade de Cambridge e ministro aulas de português para alunos com dificuldades de aprendizagem na SAP ? Seção de Apoio Pedagógico. Também sou avaliadora do MEC para concessão de RSC de Professores EBTT.
