Dóris Cristina Gedrat

A professora Dra. Dóris Cristina Gedrat é doutora e mestre em Linguística Aplicada, pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul. Atualmente, é docente, pesquisadora e coordenadora do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Promoção da Saúde, Mestrado em Promoção da Saúde, Desenvolvimento Humano e Sociedade da Universidade Luterana do Brasil. Está inserida nas áreas de pesquisa em promoção da saúde e desenvolvimento humano. Suas pesquisas contemplam os temas bem-estar, qualidade de vida e felicidade, relacionados a situações de violência laboral e/ou doméstica, a grupos pertencentes a minorias étnico-raciais, entre outros. Também realiza estudos sobre a comunicação intercultural e promoção da saúde. Coordena o grupo de pesquisa do CNPq intitulado ?Identidade, tolerância e emancipação?.

Graduated in Portuguese English Literature at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (1987), Master in Applied Linguistics at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (1993) and PhD in Applied Linguistics at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul ( 1999). Currently, professor and researcher of the Literature course and the Postgraduate Program in Health Promotion, at Lutheran University of Brazil. It is inserted in the areas of research in health promotion and human development, developing projects on language and interaction; autobiographies and identity of vulnerable groups and happiness. She is chief editor of Aletheia magazine, of the Psychology course and of the Postgraduate Program in Health Promotion, at Lutheran University of Brazil.
