Ethan Householder obtained his bachelor's (2004)and master's (2007) degrees in Environmental Science from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas. He is currently a doctoral student of INPA, undertaking his thesis entitled, "Vegetation ecology, floristics and classification of Mauritia flexuosa swamps: An Amazon-wide comparative study". He has experience in Ecology and Botany with interests in floristics, biogeography, vegetation ecology, management, and conservation, with focus on the following subjects: amazon, wetlands, peru, vanilla and orchidaceae.
Possui graduação em Ciências Ambientais - Texas Christian University (2004), mestrado em - Texas Christian University (2007) e doutorado em Biologia (Ecologia) pelo Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas da Amazônia (2015). Atualmente é pesquisador associado - Botanical Research Institute of Texas. Tem experiência na área de Ecologia, com ênfase em Ecologia, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: peru, amazon, vanilla, wetlands e orchidaceae.
