Alexandre Andrade Pires

Graduated in Telecommunications Engineering from the Military Engineering Institute (2000), he has master's and doctorate degree in electrical engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2005 and 2012). He worked for eight years as an engineer / researcher at the Army Technology Center and for three years as an assistant lecturer at the University Moacyr Sreder Bastos. Subsequently, he held the Finance and Control Analyst positions and Head of Division in the Directorate of Strategic Information of CGU for 5 years and then assigned to the position of Special Advisor for Internal Control (AECI) of the Ministry of Justice in May 2013. He stayed for 2.5 years in MJ, accumulating the position of AECI with the Chairman of the Ethics Committee of the Ministry of Justice. In the fall of 2015, he started to work at the PMO of the Information Technology Center in the Chamber of Representatives of Brazil, as a Legislative Analyst / Engineer. From 2017 to 2023 he has been an Internal Control Advisor at the Internal Control Secretariat of the Chamber of Representatives, and since February 2023 he has headed the Information Technology Audit Center (Nuati/Secin). In 2021 worked as a researcher in the Postgraduate Program in Public Management at Universidade de Brasília.

Possui graduação em Engenharia de Telecomunicações pelo Instituto Militar de Engenharia (2000), mestrado e doutorado em Engenharia Elétrica pela Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (2005 e 2012). Trabalhou durante 8 anos como engenheiro/pesquisador do Centro Tecnológico do Exército e por 3 anos como professor assistente do Centro Universitário Moacyr Sreder Bastos. Posteriormente, exerceu os cargos de Analista de Finanças e Controle e de Chefe de Divisão na Diretoria de Informações Estratégicas da CGU por 5 anos, sendo então designado para ocupar o cargo de Assessor Especial de Controle Interno (AECI) do Ministro da Justiça em maio de 2013. Permaneceu por 2 anos e meio no MJ, acumulando o cargo de AECI com a função de Presidente da Comissão de Ética do Ministério da Justiça. No segundo semestre de 2015, passou a atuar na Coordenação de Apoio à Governança do Centro de Informática da Câmara dos Deputados, órgão no qual tomou posse como Analista Legislativo/Engenheiro. De 2017 a 2023, exerceu o cargo de Assessor de Controle Interno na Secretaria de Controle Interno da Câmara dos Deputados, e desde fevereiro de 2023 passou a chefiar o Núcleo de Auditoria de Tecnologia da Informação (Nuati/Secin). Em 2021 atuou como pesquisador colaborador junto ao Programa de Pós-graduação em Gestão Pública da UnB, ministrando disciplina no curso de mestrado profissional em Gestão Pública.
