Antonio Marcio da Silva

Graduated in Literature (Portuguese / English) from UNIFOR-MG (2001), post-graduate certificate (PGCE) in Modern Languages ​​(Spanish and French) from the University of Sussex (2019), a Master in Modern Languages ​​(Brazilian Cinema) from the University of Leeds (2009), England, and a doctorate in Hispanic Studies (Brazilian Cinema) from the University of Bristol (2013). He was a Brazilian lector for CAPES at Birkbeck University of London (2008-2012) and worked as a coordinator and professor of additional Portuguese language courses at the University of Kent, Canterbury. He is currently a lecturer at the University of Essex and also teaches modern languages ​​at schools in London. He is an examiner of Portuguese additional language, oral and written, at the Institute of Linguistics and at the British Government's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, both in London. He was also an external Portuguese language examiner at the University of Coventry (2010-2014), King's College London (2015-2018) and at the University of Liverpool (2016-2018) and a CELPE-Bras examiner at King's College in London. He has worked as a visiting lecturer of Portuguese language additional at the University of Bristol, the University of Oxford, Queen Mary University of London, University of Surrey and at Imperial College London. He has experience in the area of ​​Languages, with an emphasis on Portuguese (mother tongue and additional language) and literature, cinema and culture from Portuguese-speaking countries and Spanish America; Spanish and French (additional languages) in English secondary education.

Tem experiência na área de Letras, com ênfase em Língua Portuguesa (língua materna e adicional) e literatura, cinema e cultura dos países de Língua Portuguesa e América espanhola; línguas espanhola e francesa (línguas adicionais) no ensino secundário inglês.
