Doutora e Mestra em Estudos de Literatura, na área de Literaturas Estrangeiras Modernas, com ênfase em Literatura Inglesa, na Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul. Especialista em Literatura Contemporânea pelo Centro Universitário UniDonBosco. Formada em Letras também pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul, com ênfase em Língua Portuguesa e Literaturas de Língua Portuguesa e Língua Inglesa e Literaturas de Língua Inglesa. Sua pesquisa se concentra em literatura inglesa séculos XVIII e XIX, mais precisamente no traço gótico presente nas obras dos irmãos Brontë e seu processo de criação literária.
PhD in Literary Studies at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). Her research focuses on English Literature from the 18th and 19th centuries, more precisely, on the Gothic element, the creative process, and the genetic criticism of the Brontë siblings. Other areas of interest are Brazilian Literature, Comparative Studies, and Phenomenology
