Marcelo de Almeida Silva

Doutor em Filosofia pela Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro e mestre em Filosofia pela Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo. Possui pesquisa em Filosofia social, política, ética aplicada, liberalismo, neopragmatismo, teoria decolonial, teoria da justiça, teoria institucional e tecnologia blockchain. Com especial atenção para as obras de John Rawls, Richard Rorty, Jurgen Haberas, Nancy Fraser, Maria Lugones, Philip Selznick e o tema das finanças descentralizadas em sentido amplo.

Im a PhD in Pratical Philosophy from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Im also hold a Masters Degree in Theory of Justice from the Federal University of Espirito Santo. My current research aims to reduce the social gap between the producers and the value of their production. The main tool that I'm exploring is the blockchain technology, specifically DeFi and ReFi initiatives. I've writed and researched about Social and Political Philosophy, Applyed Ethics, Liberalism, Neopragmatism, Decolonial Theory, Theory of Justice, Institutionalism and Philosophy of Economy. With special attention to the works of John Rawls, Richard Rorty, Jurgen Habermas, Nancy Fraser, Maria Lugones, Philip Selznik, Roberto Mangabeira Unger, Crisóstomo de Souza and Lucas Stanczyk.
