Carolina de Mattos Duarte

Carolina Duarte got a PharmD degree (2001) and a PhD in Organic Chemistry (2006) from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. During her PhD, she spent 8 months at the Faculty of Pharmacy - University of Strasbourg, France, as a collaborative student (2005). She did a Post-Doctoral training (2007) at the Institut des Sciences et d'Ingénieurie Supramoléculaires - Université de Strasbourg, under direction of Prof. Jean-Marie Lehn.She has experience in Pharmacy and Organic Chemistry, acting on the following subjects: hypertension, piperamides, pain, inflammation, hemoglobin, allosteric effectors, supramolecular, cancer, cardiac heart failure, drug candidates, pre-clinical drug development, clinical research, clinical data management. She is currently Consultant in Pre-Clinical Drug Development for NormOxys, Inc. (USA) and Clinical Data Management Team Lead at Quintiles Transnational (France).
