Valdenilson Ribeiro Ribas

Graduated in Psychology from the Federal University of Pernambuco (2002), Specialization in Mental Health in the area of ​​concentration in Chemical Dependence of the Specialized Nucleus in Chemical Dependence (NEDEQ) of the Department of Neuropsychiatry at UFPE (2004), Master's Degree in Neuroscience at Graduate in Neuropsychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Federal University of Pernambuco (2006) and Ph.D. in Neuropsychiatry at the Postgraduate Course in Neuropsychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Federal University of Pernambuco (2009). He has experience in Psychology and Neuropsychiatry, with an emphasis on Neuroscience, working mainly on the following topics: IN OFFICE - with Neurofeedback and Functional Neurometry in the brain training of people with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), autism, depression, dysthymia , Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD), Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Migraine (Migraine), Dyslexia and Sleep Disorders and; IN LABORATORY (BASIC NEUROSCIENCE) - on the repercussions of the use of antidepressants (fluoxetine, clomipramine and sertraline) in the critical period of nervous system development in rats, neonatal malnutrition and experimental depression and; IN FIELD RESEARCH WITH HUMAN - neuropsychological assessments of attention and in the medical field in stress and immune response. Possui Graduação em Psicologia pela Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (2002), Especialização em Saúde Mental na área de concentração em Dependência Química do Núcleo Especializado em Dependência Química (NEDEQ) do Departamento de Neuropsiquiatria da UFPE (2004), Mestrado em Neurociência na Pós-Graduação em Neuropsiquiatria e Ciências do Comportamento pela Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (2006) e Doutorado em Neuropsiquiatria na Pós-Graduação em Neuropsiquiatria e Ciências do Comportamento pela Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (2009). Tem experiência na área de Psicologia e Neuropsiquiatria, com ênfase em Neurociência, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: EM CONSULTÓRIO - com Neurofeedback e Neurometria Funcional no treinamento cerebral de pessoas com Transtorno de Déficit de Atenção e Hiperatividade (TDAH), autismo, depressão, distimia, Transtorno de Ansiedade Generalizada (TAG), Transtorno Obsessivo Compulsivo (TOC), Migrânea (Enxaqueca), Dislexia e Distúrbios de Sono e; EM LABORATÓRIO (NEUROCIÊNCIA BÁSICA) - na repercussões do uso de antidepressivos (fluoxetina, clomipramina e sertralina) no período crítico do desenvolvimento do sistema nervoso de ratos, desnutrição neonatal e depressão experimental e; EM PESQUISA DE CAMPO COM HUMANOS - avaliações neuropsicológicas da atenção e na área médica em estresse e resposta imunológica.
