Fernanda Dias Tomé

Doutora pelo Programa de Medicina Tropical e Saúde Pública do IPTSP/UFG, Área de Concentração: Ciência Básicas e Aplicadas em Doenças infecto-parasitárias e Saúde Pública (Subárea: Patologia Celular e Molecular), atuando em duas linhas de pesquisa: regulação de células da imunidade inata em malária experimental e tratamento adjuvantes e proteção tecidual durante o uso de quimioterápico; Mestre em Imunologia pelo Programa de Pós Graduação em Biologia da Relação Parasito-Hospedeiro do IPTSP/UFG (2016). Desenvolveu durante o mestrado pesquisa em Malária e a relação do hormônio leptina e células da imunidade inata. Além disso, colaborou em trabalhos com imunologia de vírus, lesões e citocinas em Leishmaniose; Tratamento quimioterápico com doxorrubicina e uso de adjuvantes. Tem experiência na área de Imunologia e Patologia, com ênfase em resposta celular, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: tratamento com substâncias estimuladoras e inibitórias da resposta imune, leucócitos, patologia celular e molecular, lesões teciduais, cultivo celular, citocinas e perfis celulares. Atualmente, além de pesquisadora, é professora das disciplinas de: Anatomia Humana; Fisiologia Humana; Neuroanatomia; Histologia e Embriologia; Patologia; Microbiologia Imunologia e Parasitologia; Ciências Sociais em Saúde; Integralidade do Ensino; Farmacologia Clínica.

PhD in the Tropical Medicine and Public Health Program at IPTSP/UFG (Subfield: Cellular and Molecular Pathology), working in two lines of research: regulation of innate immunity cells in experimental malaria and adjuvant treatment and tissue protection during chemotherapy use; Master in Immunology by the Postgraduate Program in Biology of the Parasite-Host Relationship at IPTSP/UFG (2016). During his master's, he developed research on Malaria and the relationship between the hormone leptin and innate immunity cells. In addition, he collaborated in studies with immunology of viruses, lesions and cytokines in Leishmaniasis; Chemotherapy treatment with doxorubicin and use of adjuvants. He has experience in the field of Immunology and Pathology, with an emphasis on cellular response, working mainly on the following topics: treatment with substances that stimulate and inhibit the immune response, leukocytes, cellular and molecular pathology, tissue injuries, cell culture, cytokines and cell profiles. Currently, in addition to being a researcher, she is a professor of the following subjects: Human Anatomy; Histology and Embryology; Pathology; Microbiology Immunology and Parasitology; Social Sciences in Health; Integrality of Teaching; Clinical Pharmacology.
