Doutora pelo Programa de Pós-graduação em Literatura e Cultura (PPGLITCULT/UFBA), cuja tese, intitulada Nós: afetos e literatura, discute a produção afetiva negra sapatão em textos literários brasileiros, em especial, nordestinos. A tese recebeu Menção Honrosa do Prêmio CAPES 2022. Mestra em Estudo de Linguagens pelo Programa de Pós-graduação em Estudos de Linguagens, PPGEL/UNEB. Especialista em Estudos Culturais, História e Linguagens, pelo Centro Universitário Jorge Amado (UNIJORGE). Licenciada em Ciências Sociais pela Universidade Federal da Bahia (UFBA) e em Letras com habilitação plena em Língua Portuguesa e Língua Espanhola, e respectivas Literaturas, pelo Centro Universitário Jorge Amado (UNIJORGE). Integrou a equipe de intercâmbio na "Missão de Estudos" na PUC-Rio, realizada pelo convênio do PROCAD (UNEB - PUC-RIO, PUC-GOIAS e UEFS), em 2016. Atualmente é Professora Adjunta na Universidade Federal do Oeste da Bahia (UFOB) e coordena o grupo de pesquisa Reexistências Afrodiaspóricas. Pesquisa temas voltados aos afetos coloniais e afetos de Bem Viver, produções de subjetividades negras sapatonas, crítica literária, numa perspectiva afrodiaspórica.

Degree in Social Sciences from the Federal University of Bahia and letters with full qualification in Portuguese and Spanish Language, Literature and related by Unijorge, with the axis of the final production of completion for the Jorge Amado Literature, the identity representations in his works. As a researcher, participated in the same institution, the Research Group in the area of Cultural Studies. Student was the Special Master in Interdisciplinary Studies on Women, Gender and Feminism, the Interdisciplinary Center for Studies on women (NEIM / UFBA) and BFHI / UFBA. Attended the CUS research group (Culture and Society), under the Multidisciplinary Center for Studies in Culture. He worked as a consultant in the Department of the State of Bahia Education, working with public educational policies, assisting municipalities in Bahia in the construction of its Municipal Education Plans and Articulated Action Plan. She was a teacher in the area of languages, the Industry Social Service (SESI) and taught courses in Bahia Regional College (UNIRB) in Journalism course, whose topics deal with culture, communication, languages, identities, power relations , colonialities and post-colonialism, gender and sexuality. Is beyond the scope of interest to the research questions that revolve around the following themes: queer and postcolonial studies, cultural studies, gender, literature, education, femininity, sexuality, in literary, media, artistic and scientific texts.
