Bruno Rezende Spadotto

Doutor em Geografia Humana pela Universidade de São Paulo (USP). Em 2019, foi pesquisador visitante no International Institute of Social Studies (ISS) da Erasmus University Rotterdam em Haia (Países Baixos). Sua pesquisa de doutorado discute a transformação de terras agrícolas em um ativo financeiro no capitalismo contemporâneo, com ênfase na análise das relações entre o local e o global no bioma Cerrado, na região centro-norte do Brasil (Matopiba). Possui Licenciatura e Bacharelado (2012) em Geografia pela Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP). Concluiu seu Mestrado (2016) em Geografia pela Universidade de Campinas (UNICAMP), quando também foi Pesquisador Visitante (2014) no The Graduate Center of City University of New York (CUNY Graduate Center).

Ph.D. in Human Geography at the University of São Paulo (USP), Brazil, and was a Visiting Researcher (2019) at The International Institute of Social Studies of Erasmus University Rotterdam (The Hague, NL). His doctoral research explores the transformation of farmland into a financial asset in contemporary capitalism, with an emphasis on analyzing the relations between local and global in the Cerrado biome in the central-northern (Matopiba) of Brazil. He is undergraduated in Geography (2012) at the São Paulo State University (UNESP) and Master in Geography (2016) at University of Campinas (UNICAMP). While pursuing his master?s degree, he was also a visiting researcher (2014) at The Graduate Center of the City University of New York (CUNY Graduate Center).
