Andreia Gomes Freitas Friques

Graduated in Nursing at the Federal University of Espírito Santo in 2002 and in Nutrition at the Salesian Catholic University in 2012. Title of Specialist in Maternal and Child Nutrition by AVM in 2015 and in Education by FIOCRUZ in 2005. Master degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences By the Vila Velha University in 2015, under the supervision of Professor Dr. Elisardo Corral Vasquez. PhD in Human Physiology By the Federal University of Espírito Santo in 2019, under the supervison of Prof. Dr. Elisardo Corral Vasquez. The focus of the PhD research was the cardiovasculars risks of contamination by Bisphenol-A in early life and the potencial beneficial protective effects of the probiotic kefir. Has published the research of her MSc as full papers in the Journal of Translational Medicine (2015) and Frontiers in Physiology, integrative section (2016) and published the research of her PHD in The Journal of Nutritional Biochemistry (2020). In terms of clinical activitys, has been dedicated to the care of pregnants, newborns and childs, since 2002. Moreover, has been a teacher assistent in the pediatric area in under gratuate curses and graduate programs. He currently holds the position of President of the Brazilian Association of Maternal and Child Nutrition - Abranmi, idealized and coordinates the first Postgraduate Course in Maternal and Child Nutrition in Clinical and Orthomolecular Practice in Brazil. Interest in the area of human microbioma, epigenetics, probioticoperapy, physiology and endocrinology, with focus on gestation, lactation, childhood and adolescence.
