Helena Maura Torezan Silingardi

Biologist, Ecologist, Brazilian Botanist - Associate Professor III at the Institute of Biology, Federal University of Uberlândia since August 2009, with projects in the areas of Pollination Ecology, Florivory, Insect-Plant Interactions, and Phenology in the Cerrado biome. I supervise students in the Postgraduate Programs in 'Ecology and Conservation of Natural Resources' and 'Plant Biology' at the Federal University of Uberlândia, as well as in the Postgraduate Program in 'Entomology' at the University of São Paulo, Ribeirão Preto Campus. I have a Postdoctoral degree from the Institute of Biology, Federal University of Uberlândia (2009); a Ph.D. in Sciences, with a focus on Entomology (Zoology), from the University of São Paulo/RP (2007); a Master's degree in Ecology and Conservation of Natural Resources from the Federal University of Uberlândia (2002), and a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the Pontifical Catholic University of Campinas (1990). I have participated in the organization of the books "Ecology of Plant-Animal Interactions: An Ecological-Evolutionary Approach"; "Etologia 2011: Current Themes in Ethology and Proceedings of the XXIX Annual Ethology Meeting"; and "Current Themes in Behavioral Ecology and Interactions - Proceedings of the II Behavioral Ecology and Conservation Symposium (2017)".
