Profa. Dra Fabiana Regina Xavier Batista

Graduated in Chemical Engineering from the State University of Campinas (2001), master's degree (2003) and doctorate (2007) in Chemical Engineering from the State University of Campinas carried out in collaboration with the Laboratory of Viral Immunology at the Butantan Institute and the University of Bielefeld (Universität Bielefeld Technische Fakultät AG Zellkulturtechnik) in Germany. Fabiana has experience in the​​Chemical Engineering, with an emphasis on Biotechnology, acting mainly on the following subjects: (1) production of biofuels by photo-fermentation and dark fermentation; (2) Microalgae applied to the treatment of effluents; (3) Evaluation of the Optical Properties of Milk as a Method for Detecting Adulteration. Currently holds the position of Associate Professor at the School of Chemical Engineering at the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU), attending the Post-Graduate Program at the School of Chemical Engineering/UFU as coordinator (CONCEPT 7).

Possui graduação em Engenharia Química pela Universidade Estadual de Campinas (2001), mestrado (2003) e doutorado (2007) em Engenharia Química pela Universidade Estadual de Campinas realizados em colaboração com o Laboratório de Imunologia Viral no Instituto Butantan e a Universidade de Bielefeld (Universität Bielefeld Technische Fakultät AG Zellkulturtechnik) na Alemanha. Tem experiência na área de Engenharia Química, com ênfase em Biotecnologia, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: (1) produção de biocombustíveis através do uso de rota biológica (foto-fermentação e fermentação escura); (2) Microalgas aplicadas ao tratamento de efluentes; (3) Avaliação das Propriedades Ópticas do Leite como Método para Detecção de Adulteração. Atualmente exerce o cargo de professor Associado na Faculdade de Engenharia Química da Universidade Federal de Uberlândia (UFU), atuando como coordenadora do programa de Pós-Graduação da Faculdade de Engenharia Química da UFU (CONCEITO 7).
