Maria de Fátima Batista de Melo

Bachelor's degree in Dentistry from the Federal University of Sergipe (1982), a Master's degree in Dentistry (Clinical Odontology Radiology) from the University of São Paulo (1985) and a PhD in Dentistry (Oral Diagnosis - Radiology) from the University of São Paulo (2003). She is currently a Full Professor at the Federal University of Sergipe and Visiting Professor of the Colllege of Dentistry. of University if IOWA (2018) She has experience in Dentistry, with emphasis on Dental Radiology, working mainly in the following subjects: radiology, diagnosis, orthodontics and special patients within the research lines "Diagnosis and therapy applied in the stomatognathic apparatus" and "Epidemiological determinants in oral health" Prodonto-UFS.

Professora Titular da Universidade Federal de Sergipe , possui graduação em Odontologia pela Universidade Federal de Sergipe (1982), mestrado em Odontologia (Clínica Odontológica -Radiologia) pela Universidade de São Paulo (1985), doutorado em Odontologia (Diagnóstico Bucal - Radiologia) pela Universidade de São Paulo (2003) e pós doutorado na University of IOWA- USA onde atuou como Professora Visitante of College of Dentistry at University of IOWA (2018) . Tem experiência na área de Odontologia, com ênfase em Radiologia Odontológica, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: Radiodiagnóstico Odontológico, ortodontia e pacientes especiais dentro das linhas de pesquisa" Diagnóstico e terapêutica aplicados no aparelho estomatognático" e "Determinantes epidemiológicos em saúde bucal" do prodonto-UFS. Atualmente é professora aposentada da UFS. Atua como Diretora Clínica do Centro de Imagem em Odontologia de Sergipe- CIMAGEM
