Maria Cristiane Barbosa Galvão

Professor at the Department of Social Medicine, Faculty of Medicine of Ribeirao Preto, University of Sao Paulo, and Professor of the Graduate Program in Information Science at the Federal University of São Carlos in the area of ​​Technology, Information and Representation. Professor and a researcher full-time in universities since 1994, including University of Sao Paulo (since August 2005), University of Brasilia (1996-2005), and Federal University of Sao Carlos (1994-1996). Associate Researcher at University of Campinas (2010-2013), and Visiting Professor at the Departament of Family Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, McGill University (2011-2012), and at University of Malaga (2000). Author of papers, books, book chapters, communication in events, and texts in newspapers and magazines. Advisor for scientific initiation, graduation work, specialization, master's and doctor's degrees. Referee for several journals in the fields of Information Sciences and Health Information. Interests include: Health information, health technology, evidence based health, health records, health terminology, social media, responsible innovation, frugal innovation.
