Doutora e Mestra em Ciência dos Materiais e Bacharel em Química pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). Sob orientação do Prof. Dr. Daniel Eduardo Weibel, atuou na área de modificação superficial de polímeros sintéticos e suas aplicações em biodegradação. O assunto abordado em sua Tese foi a degradação de polímeros sintéticos modificados, tendo estudado diferentes polímeros e diferentes modificações. Durante o período de 09/18 a 08/19, realizou Doutorado Sanduíche na KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Suécia. Com supervisão da Profa. Dra. Minna Hakkarainen, o projeto desenvolvido trouxe maior entendimento na área de degradação polimérica, utilizando diversas técnicas analíticas.Atualmente, atua como bolsista DTI-A (CNPq) em projeto que visa a identificação, caracterização e quantificação de microplásticos existentes nas águas urbanas de Porto Alegre, sob coordenação da Profa. Dra. Andreia Neves Fernandes, UFRGS.

PhD and Master in Materials Science and Bachelor in Chemistry from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS).Under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Daniel Eduardo Weibel, I worked in surface modification of synthetic polymers and their applications in biodegradation. The subject addressed in my thesis was the degradation of modified synthetic polymers. During 09/18 to 08/19, I completed a Sandwich Doctorate period at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden. Under supervision of Prof. Dr. Minna Hakkarainen, the developed project brought greater understanding in the area of polymeric degradation by using several analytical techniques.Currently, I'm a DTI-A (CNPq) fellow in a project of identifying, characterizing and quantifying microplastics in urban waters in Porto Alegre, under coordination of Prof. Dr. Andreia Neves Fernandes, UFRGS.I have experience in Chemistry, focusing on Physical Chemistry, acting on the following subjects: surface modification, polymer biodegradation, biocompatibility, surface analysis, microplastics.
