Possui graduação em Agronomia pela Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (2005), mestrado em Agroecossistemas (2008) pela mesma universidade, e doutorado em Geografia (Aménagement de l Espace) (2013) pela Université Paul-Valéry Montpellier III, França. Durante a graduação estudou um semestre (2005-2) na Universidade da Califórnia em Berkeley, com enfoque na agroecologia e desenvolvimento rural sustentável. Atuou e tem interesse principalmente nos seguintes temas: vitivinicultura, agroecologia, desenvolvimento territorial sustentável, Indicação Geográfica, paisagem e abordagem sistêmica.
completed her undergraduate studies in Agronomy at 2005, working specially with the following subjects: certificated plants, viticulture and enology, agroecology and rural development. She studied half year (2005-2) at the University of California at Berkeley, USA, focusing the agroecology and the sustainable rural development. In 2006 she started to work with Geographical Indications (GI) in the South of Brazil, through the Federal University of Santa Catarina. She obtained her Masters degree in Agroecosystems at 2008, through the same University, with approach, mainly, at: geographical indications, rural development, social exclusion and governance. In 2013 she obtained her PhD in Geography through the Université Paul-Valéry Montpellier III, France working with landscapes, geographical indications, wine and viticulture.
