Luiz Carlos Duarte Ladeira

Doutor em Ciência e Tecnologia das Radiações, Minerais e Materiais pelo Centro de Desenvolvimento da Tecnologia Nuclear (CDTN) da Comissão Nacional de Energia Nuclear (CNEN) (2015), Mestre em Ciências Técnicas Nucleares (1975) e Bacharel em Física (1972), ambos pela Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG). Pesquisador III da CNEN, atualmente, Chefe da Divisão de Gestão Administrativa do CDTN e Responsável Técnico pelo Laboratório de Irradiação Gama do CDTN. Tem experiência na área de Irradiação de Alimentos e Tecnologia de Reatores Nucleares, com ênfase em termo hidráulica experimental, tendo estagiado na Alemanha e na Inglaterra, nessa área. Liderou os projetos de implantação de Irradiadores Gama no CDTN e na cidade de Uberaba/MG. Na área administrativa ocupou vários cargos, tendo sido: Diretor Adjunto do CDTN (de 1997 a 2011), Ordenador de Despesas por delegação (de 1997 a 2011 e de 2014 até o presente), além de Chefe da Assessoria de Planejamento e Controle. Como Chefe da Divisão de Gestão Administrativa do CDTN (de 2003 a 2011 e de 2014 até o presente) foi o responsável pela condução das áreas de administração, finanças, tecnologia da informação, engenharia, logística e infraestrutura. Exerceu, também, o cargo de Chefe da Divisão de Termohidráulica e do Laboratório de Irradiação Gama. Foi membro da Comissão Interna do Plano de Carreiras CIPC/CNEN, ocupando posteriormente a sua presidência. Foi membro do Comitê Técnico de Revisão do Plano Médico, criado por portaria da Presidência da CNEN em junho/2018, com a finalidade de analisar e propor medidas para o saneamento econômico e financeiro do plano de assistência à saúde suplementar dos servidores da instituição. No âmbito governamental foi membro da comissão interministerial nomeada para propor a atualização da legislação brasileira sobre irradiação de alimentos. No âmbito internacional representou o Brasil em reunião da ABACC na Argentina (2001) e participou, na Inglaterra como representante brasileiro, dos testes operacionais do elemento combustível de recarga para a Central Nuclear de Angra 1, fabricado pela Kraftwerk Union (KWU) (1978). No âmbito nacional coordenou o programa institucional da CNEN de divulgação da tecnologia de irradiação de alimentos (1993 a 2005).

PhD in Science and Radiation Technology, Minerals and Materials (2015) by the National Commission of Nuclear Energy (CNEN), MSc in Sciences and Nuclear Techniques (1975) and BSc in Physics (1972) by, Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG). He is currently Head of the Administrative Management Division and Technical Responsible by the Gamma Irradiation Laboratory of the Nuclear Technology Development Center (CDTN / CNEN). He has experience in Food Irradiation and Reactors Technology, having trained in Germany and England in this area. He lead the projects of implantation of Gama Irradiators in CDTN and in the city of Uberaba, State of Minas Gerais. In the administrative area he held various positions, having been Deputy Director of the CDTN (from 1997 to 2011), as well as Chief of Planning and Control Advisory. As Head of the Administrative Management Division of the CDTN (from 2003 to 2011 and from 2014 to the present) he was responsible for the management of the areas of administration, finance, information technology, engineering, logistics and infrastructure. He also held the position of Head of the Thermohydraulic Division and of the Gamma Irradiation Laboratory. He was a member of the Technical Committee for the Review of the Medical Plan, created by an ordinance of the CNEN Presidency in June / 2018, with the purpose of analyzing and proposing measures for the economic and financial sanitation of the supplementary health care plan of the institution's employees. At the governmental level, he was a member of the interministerial commission appointed to propose the updating of Brazilian legislation on food irradiation. In the international level he represented Brazil at a meeting of ABACC in Argentina and participated in the operational tests of the Angra 1 Nuclear Power Plant recharge fuel element carried out in England, manufactured by Kraftwerk Union (KWU), as a Brazilian representative. At the national level, he coordinated the CNEN's institutional program for the dissemination of food irradiation technology (1993 to 2005).
