Marcelo Santucci Franca

Graduated (1997), Medical Residency (2000) in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Master's Degree (2006), and Ph.D. (2022) from the Federal University of Sao Paulo. He is currently a Post-Doctoral student from the Prematurity Screening Sector of Fetal Medicine Discipline of the Department of Obstetrics of the Federal University of São Paulo. He has experience in the area of medicine, with emphasis on Maternal and Child Health and Fetal Medicine, acting on the following topics: fetal medicine and prematurity. He is the chairman of the Permanent Network in Studies in Preterm birth since 2022 Audited member of Fetal Medicine Foundation (FMF) since 2014. Member of the International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology (ISUOG) since 2010. Scientific Revisor of some International Medial Journals as Obstetrics & Gynecology, Journal of Pregnancy, and BMC (BioMed Central).

Possui graduação (1997), Residência Medica (2000) em Ginecologia e Obstetrícia, Mestrado em Ciências (Obstetrícia) (2006) e Doutorado em Ciências (Obstetricia) (2022) pela Universidade Federal de São Paulo. Atualmente atua como médico-pesquisador do Setor de Rastreamento da Prematuridade da Disciplina de Medicina Fetal do Departamento de Obstetrícia da Universidade Federal de São Paulo. Tem experiência na área de Medicina, com ênfase em Saúde Materno-Infantil e Medicina fetal, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: medicina fetal e prematuridade. É também líder da Rede Permanente de Estudos no Parto Pré-termo, uma associação entre as Universidades UNIFESP, UNICAMP, USP-RP, FM JUNDIAI, IMIP, UFCE-MEAC com intuito de reduzir as lacunas existentes na área da prematuridade desde 2022. Membro auditado da Fetal Medicine Foundation (FMF) desde 2004. Membro da International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology - ISUOG desde 2011. Revisor científico ativo de diversas revistas cientificas internacionais, entre elas Obstetrics & Gynecology, Journal of Pregnancy e BMC (BioMed Central).
