Emília Hamada

Bachelor's (1986), master's (1993) and doctorate (2000) in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Campinas. She has been working as a researcher at the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation, Embrapa Environment, linked to the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Food Supply, in Remote Sensing and GIS area since 2001. Her research focuses on the impact of climate change on agriculture, mainly the spatial and temporal distribution of plant diseases and spectral characterization.

Possui graduação (1986), mestrado (1993) e doutorado (2000) em Engenharia Agrícola pela Universidade Estadual de Campinas. É pesquisadora da Empresa Brasileira de Pesquisa Agropecuária - Embrapa Meio Ambiente na área de Sensoriamento Remoto e Geoprocessamento, desde 2001. Atua no tema de impactos das mudanças climáticas na agricultura, principalmente com distribuição espacial e temporal de doenças de plantas e caracterização espectral.
