Adriana Cursino Thomé

Graduated in Bachelor of Computer Science from the Federal University of São Carlos - UFSCar (1994), Master in Applied Computing from the National Institute for Space Research - INPE (1998), Doctorate in Applied Computing from the National Institute of Space Research - INPE (2004 ), Specialization in Strategic Management of Science and Technology in Public Research Institutes by Fundação Getúlio Vargas - FGV (2012), and a Bachelor's Degree in International Relations from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) at the University of London (2020) . In the field of Computer Science, she worked mainly in the area of Software Engineering. She worked for many years as a university professor and in 2008 joined the public service as a technologist at INPE. At INPE she worked in the area of ​​Strategic Planning and International Cooperation. She also served as Head of the International Relations at INPE from November 2016 to April 2020 and as Deputy Head of Staff at INPE from October 2017 to April 2020. She currently works at the multilateral cooperation office within the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovations (MCTI).

Possui graduação em Bacharelado em Ciência da Computação pela Universidade Federal de São Carlos - UFSCar (1994), Mestrado em Computação Aplicada pelo Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais - INPE (1998), Doutorado em Computação Aplicada pelo Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais - INPE (2004), Especialização em Gestão Estratégica da Ciência e Tecnologia em Institutos Públicos de Pesquisa pela Fundação Getúlio Vargas - FGV (2012), e graduação em Bacharelado em Relações Internacionais pela London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) da University of London (2020). No campo da Ciência da Computação, atuou principalmente na área de Engenharia de Software. Trabalhou muitos anos como professora universitária e em 2008 ingressou no serviço público como tecnologista no INPE. No INPE trabalhou na área de Planejamento Estratégico e Cooperação Internacional. Atuou também como chefe da Seção de Relações Internacionais do INPE de novembro de 2016 à abril de 2020 e como e Chefe de Gabinete Substituta também no INPE de outubro de 2017 à abril de 2020. Atualmente atua na cooperação multilateral do Ministério da Ciência, Tecnologia e Inovações (MCTI).
