General surgeon, graduated from the Federal University, acts in clinical practice in the areas of general surgery and digestive tract, with emphasis and professional dedication in the role of liver transplantation since 2002. He has a professional activity at the Walter Cantídio University Hospital (HUWC) of the Federal University of Ceará and in the private clinic. He was a student of the Marist Cearense Sacred Heart College, having completed high school in the year 1986. Graduated in medicine from Universidade Federal do Ceará (UFC) in 1993 (Class 93/2). He had 3 years of medical residency in general surgery at the Instituto Dr. José Frota (1995-1998). He was a preceptor and coordinator of the medical residency in general surgery of the Santa Casa de Misericordia in Fortaleza, where he worked from 1998 to 2009. He became master in medical-surgical sciences from the Federal University of Ceará (2014). Associate member of the Brazilian College of Surgeons (CBC), member of the Brazilian Society of Minimally Invasive and Robotic surgery (SOBRACIL), member of the Brazilian Organ Transplantation Association (ABTO). Médico com atuação na área de cirurgia Hepato Pancreato Biliar (HPB) e Transplante Hepático, exerce atividade profissional em clínica privada e no setor público no Hospital Universitário Walter Cantídio da Universidade Federal do Ceará (HUWC - UFC). Ex aluno do colégio Marista Cearense Sagrado Coração, onde concluiu ensino em 1986. Formado em Medicina pela Universidade Federal do Ceará em 1993 (Turma 93/2). Residência Médica em Cirurgia Geral (3 anos) no Instituto Dr. José Frota (1995 - 1998). Foi preceptor e coordenador da residência médica em Cirurgia Geral da Santa Casa de Misericórdia de Fortaleza, onde trabalhou de 1998 até 2009. Obteve o título de mestre em ciências médico-cirúrgicas pela Universidade Federal do Ceará (2014). MBA em Gestão de Negócios de Saúde pela UNIFOR (2021). Membro Adjunto do Colégio Brasileiro de Cirurgiões (CBC), Membro da Sociedade Brasileira de Cirurgia Minimamente Invasiva e Robótica (SOBRACIL), Membro da Associação Brasileira de Transplante de órgãos (ABTO). Atualmente Cirurgião assistente do serviço de cirurgia digestiva e Transplante de Fígado do HUWC - UFC e Cirurgião membro do Centro de Transplante de Fígado do Ceará (CTFC) do Hospital São Carlos. Exerce atividade profissional em cirurgia Hepato Pancreato Biliar no Hospital São Camilo de Fortaleza.
